[9:8]  ⁶ tn Heb “hiss,” or perhaps “whistle.” This refers to a derisive sound one would make when taunting an object of ridicule.

[9:10]  ⁷ tn Heb “the two houses, the house of the Lord and the house of the king.”

[9:25]  ⁸ tn Or “tokens of peace”; NIV, TEV “fellowship offerings.”

[9:25]  ⁹ tn Heb “and he made complete the house.”
